For the past thirty something years my life as an artist has been focused on my spiritual journey. I've learned to appreciate the whisperings of Spirit and the call of Soul to my work. What work I do seems never enough but enough to lead me onward_a pilgrimage of heart if you like, into new visions, to a place of inner peace, harmony, trust , gratitude, and self-discovery.
  What I've discovered on my spiritual journey are great secrets we share, search for, long for_ spiritual virtues if you will, universal spiritual principles to uncover, understand and incorporate into our lives, of what seems at times impossibilities when we face the obstacles of the human condition with all the power plays and political control from those who live off the goodness of others. Yet I believe that deep within the sincere heart theres a longing for truth, a need for love and the things of beauty, a quest for spiritual understanding, a wish for a better, more fulfilled life.
  Fulfillment for me is when I my heart is awake to the spirit of compassion, forgiveness, and trust. And when I stop needing and give thanks and gratitude to Spirit for the opportunity to participate in the creativity of life that flows through and around me.
  There's something inside me, something from within the core of my being that stirs my innerworld. The Call of Soul, the Voice of Divine Spirit beckons me from my idleness of spiritual slumber of unconsciousness and my thoughts rise to my highest intent.
  In my heart I know there's goodness to be found in everyone, and from my spiritual understanding on this Great Road of Life goodness is one of the great spiritual virtues placed in the heart of each and every one of us to be discovered and pursued.
  Innerscapes is a visual journal of sorts from snippets of spiritual principles and ideas, thoughts and insights, contemplations of universal spiritual concepts and virtues, dreams impressions and imaginings, whether sleeping or with eyes wide open in clear daylight.
  The ideas leading to the creation of the paintings here came from some of my more prominent visions that I feel are still of value and pertinent to these contemporary times.
  I find as I mature with my spiritual understanding of life my visions and perceptions becomes more defined and focused as to what matters most and what becomes insignificant as to the truth I seek in my work.
  Truth is always changing but for now my focus is on the fine transparent veil that separates the outer physical world from the inner spiritual awakenings of the human Spirit, fragile as the human spirit may be. This veil hopefully will become apparent as you contemplate the visions set forth in these next few pages.
